Classical ballet barre à terre (Pilates influenced)

Classical ballet barre à terre is based on the anatomy and the principles of classical ballet. It is a method that classical ballet dancer Boris Kniaseff developed for helping the injured dancers to practice with safety without the bar. The exercises of ballet are executed on the ground, combined with exercises of Pilates repertoire, aiming for the optimal body alignment and the balanced empowerment of the whole body.

The result is the elongation and elasticity of the muscles, strength and greater range of motion. Ideal for trainees who want:

  • Improvement of the body posture
  • Empowerment of the core and the legs
  • Flexibility
  • Wellness

Benefits that Pilates offers as well, only that in barre à terre grace and harmony of ballet technique are also provided.
